About me

Richard Jonas I grew up in the picturesque village of Minster, near the cathedral city of Canterbury in Kent. Contrary to popular belief, this is nowhere near Margate whatsoever. Minster is famous for its Benedictine Abbey, and its Agricultural and Rural Life museum (which was opened by the Duchess of York). Two of its pubs, the New Inn and the Saddlers are listed in the Good Beer Guide 1997.

I was educated at Chatham House Grammar School and Warwick University.

I am currently living in Hertingfordbury, which is near Hertford, next to the church which contains the remains of the last person to be sentenced to death for witchcraft in an unmarked grave.
